Not to be confused with Thamesmead Canal. This is a different stretch. Over the years, different sections have disappeared, been changed route, filled in made way for roads, houses.
This particular section runs from Gallions Lake through to the end point as seen on map above, being shut off the end of stretch.
Controlled by Thamesmead Town Angling Club. Absolutely worth joining not just for the 4 lakes, but this wonderful short stretch of canal 👍😎🎣
