Good Evening All 👋 apologies lack of posts, playing catch up, one of several recent sessions. Wanted to add a 1.5 metre speed whip, to my sword collection for Bleak fishing close in when coming thick and fast. Searched the web all could find was this wonderful tiny Nissin whip Made in Japan.

Having been notified by a reader, had to go check my local River Shuttle, which flows into The River Cray, a recent incident of sewage overflowing into two local streams from Thames Water overflows. Wyncham stream near the A20 at New Eltham, which flows into The River Shuttle at Blackfen before flowing past Hall Place to The River Cray and then into The River Thames.

Armed with just my new whip, a discorger, plummet, a handful of maggots, literally caught fish a chuck, a short session of just a couple of enjoyable hours, caught Gudgeon, Rudd, Roach, Minnows and tiny Chublets.

Method tiny no 8 float, vaseline on float tip, to aid buoyancy. Main rig line Reflon Power 1.205kg, hooklengh Stroft GTM 0.65kg, 26 Kamasan B511, bait single maggot.

Not everyone's cup of tea fishing tiny rivers and streams, but I happen to love it, brings out the child in me as a boy fishing.

Did lose a big fish that bent the whip in half, before hooklengh stamped. So all in all, a wonderful little session, and very pleased no fish or wildlife effected by recent sewage leak.
