Preparing and cooking maize for fishing
Afternoon Folk's, was going to wait, include with a future post on return 27th July. Just couldn't help share today, a picture doesn't do justice. The smell is like absolutely gorgeous 😍 Taken me years to actually get it right, finally smashed Maize 🌽 Preparation out of the park. After 92 hours soaking, the real secret isn't the Black Treacle added, it's been the slow cooking process, on the lowest gas mark possible for 24 hours. The texture and smell is bang on 💪

Be heading there now if not for next stop a Portsmouth Mackerel Bashing session, coach booked. Hopefully get lucky 🍀 disappeared when turned up Southend-on-Sea, and several attempts on Isle of Wight. Told unless a seal 🦭 shows up should be in with a good chance of Mackerel.
