Now where does one begin with this new blog ? Decided to start with some beautiful hand made traditional fishing floats recently purchased by David Pearce.

These are made from double Eagle quill. As of now to the best of knowledge these exclusive one of a kind floats have never been seen anywhere else apart from those who are fortunate to own one made by Dave's Floats. Many of you fisherman will be aware of Pelican quill floats but rare if ever seen eagle feathers used as float making material. These floats are made from 26 " long feathers dropped naturally, hence no harm to eagle (painting unknown Artist)
