Now where does one begin with this new blog ? Decided to start with some beautiful hand made traditional fishing floats recently purchased by a lovely gentleman by the name of David Pearce.


Always been a stickler for quality workmanship as a perfectionist insist on only the very finest quality. Dave's work has not failed to please. His attention to detail and Craftsmanship is Outstanding ! So pleased to have discovered these Superb traditional handcrafted floats that have taken me back to a bygone era. You pay for what you get and unlike many modern plastic floats these are made of superior materials and in my book worth ever penny and more. Not only pleased with his incredible work, he is also a Top Man and Honest Businessman who would 101% recommend to anybody looking for that something a little Special... Faultless ! 10/10


Time for something very special and incredibly rare. Introducing one of a kind limited edition handcrafted floats made in the old school traditional way by one of the finest float makers David Pearce of Dave's Floats.

These are made from double Eagle quill. As of now to the best of knowledge these exclusive one if a kind floats have never been seen anywhere else apart from those who are fortunate to own one made by Dave's Floats. Many of you fisherman will be aware of Pelican quill floats but rare if ever seen eagle feathers used as float making material. These floats are made from 26 " long feathers dropped naturally, hence no harm to eagle (painting unknown Artist)
